Mid-priced private pub/hotel, well run, clean, excellent food reasonably priced. Breakfast (included) was very substantial! Room good size, quite comfortable and clean. Staff very helpful and pleasant. As a pub, excellent range of real ales on draught. We used it for the first time for proximity to family, will probably use it again. No problems except no secure parking altough side road is very quiet. Only reason for going elsewhere is special discounts from chains, if not available, will be back.
The staff were so friendly and helpful.
The room was too warm so opened the window but the noise of the road then kept us awake.
The food was good and home cooked.
Trams going past from 5.30am until 12.00pm. Above a pub so lots of banging and noise including some mysterious banging early in the morning and during the night, apparently this was due to the compressor in the on-site brewery. Making it perhaps the most unrestful place I've stayed in
friendly staff, great food, good location. nice room with free internet which was very fast.
The staff were very approachable, friendly and obliging. They couldn't do enough for you. They wanted to provide a good service and that is exactly what they did. The room was clean and tidy, the pub grub was always good and their own brewed beers were a real ale delight.
Excellent value and good breakfast provided by friendly and efficient staff. Adjacent public transport with frequent service to city centre.
Staircase access to bedrooms needs new floor covering.
service excellent - v freindly staff
Good rooms, very friendly staff, good food and drink, not far from city center
A bit too noisy in the evening sometimes
Staff very welcoming. Evening food excellent and plenty of choice ,very well priced. Rooms clean and comfortable. Quiet parking at rear of hotel on street. 40 minute walk to city centre. Trams run past the hotel which is good to get in to city.
Trams run past the hotel which is noisey they do stop running at 23.00 and start again at 08.00
Very friendly &helpful staff. Good breakfast and fine real ale.
friendly accomodating and comfortable. reasonably priced
location was noisy with trams and parking facilites limited.
The staff were very friendly, Sharon was very helpfull and had lovely brown eyes lol
Great basic pub food, best I've had in a long time, spacious clean rooms with firm but comfortable beds, Friendly staff, Nice bar and glass covered terrace. Will defiantly stay again when visiting family.
No on site parking, but parking easy in local streets around. On the main road with trams but traffic is very light at night and I didn't hear any trams after I went to bed. You could always ask for a quite room on the back if you go to bed early and need perfect silence
Brilliant staff, brilliant rooms, brilliant breakfast, brilliant real ale!
When we had to be up and out too early for breakfast, we were offered cereals in our room or and evening meal, not many places would be so accommodating! The hotal was very close to a tram stop which would take you straight into the heart of Sheffield, and was much cheaper than parking. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. We were very impressed all round and will be staying again
